Amy DEsimon, LMHC
Hi, I'm Amy.

Whether I am working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, those who have suffered from trauma or people who just want to improve their overall quality of life, I truly believe that any person, in any situation, can make significant life changes to minimize suffering and reach their goals.

Our past experiences shape the way we view ourselves and the world around us. I use a holistic and integrative approach that combines trauma-informed interventions, mindfulness skills and psychodynamic psychotherapy to help process unresolved trauma and identify how an individual’s past experiences have shaped their current beliefs about themself, others, and the world. I also utilize behavioral interventions designed to help modify a person’s actions to align with their goals.

Our team of licensed therapists are here to help guide you on your path to self-discovery, healing, and change.

If you are seeking a professional psychotherapist who will partner with you on your journey to living a better life, please contact us at Fifth Avenue Psychotherapy.
